This is where the famed Tiger Nest Monastery is located. The bountiful and fertile Paro Valley is the entry point for all visitors flying into Bhutan as it is the only Airport of Bhutan. The picturesque Paro valley is counted amongst the widest and greenest valleys of Bhutan. This heart of Bhutan is surrounded by the fertile rice fields and serene Paro River (Pa Chu) which flows down the valley. It’s also one of the best Bhutanese towns to explore on foot.
