The Central Park of Dushanbe has been named after founder of Tajik-Persian literature Abuabdullo Rudaki. It was a beautiful afternoon and the air was clear and cool. The park seemed quite safe and there were a number of families in the park, enjoying the day. While Dushanbe is not an overcrowded city, the traffic can be noisy and somewhat confounding, so a break from the main streets might just be what a traveler needs. Visited the nearby Sariosiye Madrasah and East Bazaar.
