GANGTOK TO PELLING + PELLING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING – Oct 2015
We left for Pelling (123kms/6.5hrs) situated at an altitude of 6,800 ft. Pelling is a very small Himalayan town in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motor able point from Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s 3rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise and all day long view of Kanchendzonga and the entire Eastern Himalayan range during the clear day. Later start for half day sightseeing in an around Pelling, covering Rimbi Falls, sacred Khecheodpalri Lake, Kanchendzonga Falls &Pemayangtse Monastery – the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim. Return to hotel for lunch, evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.
PELLING TO KALIMPONG + KALIMPONG AND LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast we left from Pelling to Kalimpong (85kms/3hrs), a quiet hill resort in eastern Himalaya. Kalimpong is famous for its Orchids & Nurseries and some of the rarest Cacti & Orchids can be seen. Oak, Maple and chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Later starts the Local Sight Seeing In and Around Kalimpong City, covering DurpinDara (view point), Zong Dog PalriFo- Brong monastery , flower & orchid nurseries, Dello hill.

Morning after breakfast departure transfer to Jaldapara
Jaldapara — A world famous Sanctuary situated on the border of Bhutan, overnight stay at Tea Garden Resort. The beauty of the Tea Garden Resort “ Mystic Forest” was amazing. From Jaldarpara we left for Bhutan next day.
