Madrid

Plaza de Espana is a large square and popular tourist destination located in central Madrid, Spain. It features a monument to Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and is adjacent to two of Madrid’s most prominent skyscrapers. Additionally, the Palacio Real (Royal Palace) is only a short walk south from the plaza.

Right in the center of the square is the monument to Cervantes Statue created at the same time as the square itself. Around the monument, a series of landscaped spaces were created for the enjoyment and rest of passers-by.

The monumental Cibeles Fountain has become a Madrid icon. Located in the heart of the city it shows Cybele, the Greek goddess of fertility and nature holding a scepter and a key while being pulled by two lions on a chariot. The pull of the wild lions symbolize the power of nature or of the goddess.

Barcelona

Barcelona Beach is one of the most popular and oldest beaches in the city. It is more than 1 km long and is one of the biggest beaches in Barcelona. The beach is close to the port and not too far from the city centre.

Rambla, also known as Las Ramblas, is one of Barcelona’s main thoroughfares and one of the most visited areas in the city.

The Columbus Monument is a 60 m (197 ft) tall monument to Christopher Columbus at the lower end of La Rambla, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
