Ravenna in the northern Italian province of Emilia Romagnais an art and history lover’s dream, most famous for its extensive mosaics. The city was the capital of the Western Roman Empire from 402 until it collapsed in 476. Today, Ravenna’s eight world heritage sites, its proximity to the “Adriatic Riviera” .
